About
Irina Fain
A business owner. A clinical psychologist. An executive coach. A working chair.
What I do
The intersection is the work.
I run companies and I sit with the people who run them. The chair I sit in most days is an owner's chair inside a live business, not a classroom. The chair I sit in the rest of the time is a psychologist's chair inside a private practice, one to one.
The frameworks on this site come from that overlap. Two traditions of study, one working life. Clinical psychology as it is actually applied. Executive leadership as it is actually carried. Both filtered through years of owning the outcome.
How the work moves
Correspondence first, small, unhurried.
The practice is intentionally small. Every engagement begins as a written exchange and moves at a pace set by the work, not a calendar. Nothing is booked from a public link. Nothing recurs without an explicit agreement.
One to one is the default container. A small number of advisory retainers run alongside individual sessions in any given quarter. Groups, cohorts and open enrollment are not offered.
Why this moment matters
An owner's chair in a fast moving decade.
Applied AI moved into the second shift, the one where the year is quietly shaped, and most owners are running the new instrument with the old wrist. The work of ownership is being rewritten faster than the language for it.
The practice reads that shift from inside a chair that is still occupied. Nothing here is theoretical. Every framework is tested against a live company, a live payroll and a decision that will have to be defended on Monday.
Where to begin
Two doors in.
Read a few essays in the library and see whether the voice fits the question you are carrying. Or read the practice and see the four working depths.
When you are ready, correspondence begins by email. Every note is read personally.
